چکیده

HemoglobIn ontogenic changes have been studied In chimeras composed of a quaIl embryo grafted on a chIck yolk sac. From the blood of such chlmeras, quaIl erythrocytes are separated from chIck by means of a specific Immune hemolytlc technIque, thus yielding two populations of red cells, one derIving from yolk sac stem cells and the other from intraembryonlc stem cells. Both populations comprIse In successIon primItIve and definitIve erythrocytes. However, quail primitive erythrocytes are produced in very small or often undetectable quantItIes, whereas quaIl definitive erythrocyte Inflow Increases steadIly; on the other hand, chick cells make up the bulk of the primItive series and taper off In the definitive series. PrevIous work by our group has shown that lntraembryonic stem cells travel to the yolk sac durIng the second phase of erythropolesis. The results mean that the sequence of erythrocytlc series is determined by a time program rather than by the origin of stem cells or site of erythropolesls. All areas of the blastoderm may give off erythrold stem cells wIth similar potentialities, but most yolk sac stem cells engage In erythropolesis at the early phase, while most intraembryonlc stem cells do so later.

Objective(s) The use of co-culture cells as well as extra cellular matrix are among those strategies that have been employed to direct mesenchymal stem cell (MSC) bone differentiation in culture. In this regard, there is no study considering the effects of Matrigel on mesenchymal stem cell (MSC) in vitro bone differentiation. This was the subject of the present study. Background: Re-epithelialization has an important role in skin wound healing. Delays in re-epithelialization are more likely to create the chronic wound. Impaired wound healing leads to a large burden of morbidity and mortality. Current treatments based on the use of autografts, allografts and xenografts, suffer from limitations such as, quantity of donor skin available, donor-site infection, p...
